I'm a bit disappointed that you killed the project because of an 'outcry' 
about the nature of the implementation. I thought you'd be doing this for 
your own interest/amusement as much as anyone else's?

It's easy to poo-poo an idea - harder if you have it running in front of them.

Again, not my cup-of-tea, but I'd hate to think my or anyone else's opinion 
to that effect killed your project! :(
