[Coco] Coco interfacing, running a coco from 12 volts and more.

Bruce, can I just check with a multitestor to see which lines are getting fed 12 volts while its plugged into the wall? 


A battery has -12 volts too... I'm not sure but I think running +12 and -12 would be better...

I ran 12 volts (Truck 12 volts = 11-14.3 give or take a bit.) to two of the 
three terminals where the transformer plugged into the main board.  There 
was no negative voltage that way, but that is only needed for the "RS-232" 
serial port.  The disk drive was not much different, but I soldered the 
wires on that unit.
