Thanks for the responses!

Here are the results of the poll:

18 people responded

11 were highly interested
5 were somewhat interested
2 had very little interest

For most desired type of contest we have:
1 vote for Adventure
3 for Game
3 for Limited Resources like 1k or 4k
11 for "Wide Open"

14 people said they would submit an entry
6 said they would judge entries
6 said they would review entries
4 said they would not want any official role but would check out the entries

I'll leave the poll open in case anyone else wants to weigh in.  I
think the numbers are probably there to justify an attempt at doing
this.
Several people have contacted me directly with good ideas and offers
of assistance or even prize donations!  Thanks guys.
