It would seem that I'm not the only one that has fond memories of the CM 
100.  After a quick search on Google I found this blog posting ...

In short, he liked it because the CM100 did what he want without the 
other crap he did not need.  It's a good read.

I'll just have to create an iOS app that does what I loved about the CM100.
