I agree, if you are having issues with the torrent, please try
utorrent. Its free, it "just works" and its available for windows
and mac.
So far everyone that has had trouble is using something else, afaik.

I did download the entire torrent using a machine at work, and the
archive was complete with no missing files.

Are there opinions on putting these .torrent files up on the big
public sites? I have reservations because of the reputation most of
the big torrent sites have, but I would like to get these mags into
the hands of as many people as possible. You never know, someone
might find the rainbows out of the blue and be reminded of how much
fun the CoCo was, and that could lead to more people in the community.
As "retro computing" gains popularity, I think it's worth some effort
to make sure the CoCo is visible and people know we still have an
active community. Unfortunately many avenues a person newly
interested in the CoCo might take will lead to abandoned or rarely
updated web sites. Malted media is a great resource but it's not easy
for a casually interested person to find.. maybe that is good. Maybe
a .txt file in a rainbow torrent with a link to this mailing list
would be good? Looking for thoughts on what, if anything should be
done with these things now. I'd hate for someone with a genuine
interest to think we aren't here, but don't want to call unwanted
attention either.
