You got that right! Same where I work, skipped Vista and just now going to 
Win 7.

If any one ever sung praises to Vista it was Microsoft itself (and the
assorted vendors that bulk package MS OSs in their stuff). They have done
so since the days of that kludge over MSDOS they started with, but it was
never more embarrassing than with Vista - remember the Seinfeld/Gates
commercials? desperate... they were desperate.

I have not heard a single person in my field of work ever praise Vista. In
my company many systems remained under XP and not until recently some have
begun to be moved to 7; Vista was never seen as an option.
