Agreed, but how are you going to shield a cable that is terminated in a 10 
pin IDC plug?

Actually, I am looking at the possibility of actually mounting this card in 
the right rear of the cover, with its output db15's projecting out the 
rear.  But I haven't lifted the cover yet to check for room so it may not 
be doable.  The vga cables would restrict access to the stock reset button, 
but that is 100% portable if push comes to shove.  The thought of doing 
that reduces the length of the coco's output cable to just 6 or 7 inches, 
which might reduce noise pickup.

But I really think I need to verify the actual voltage the gime is getting 
as I know from past experience that it doesn't work at all well below about 
4.75 volts.  It would be many times happier if I could get say 5.2 volts to 
it, but that may require a whole new power supply to replace the old AT 
supply that is running it all now, and has been for close to 20 years.

I should start trolling the surplus sources I guess, for supplies that are 
tweak able.  Heck, I haven't checked, there may be pots in that old AT 
supply for that, but its been sitting there with zero attention for most of 
those 20 years now.
