[Coco] What if the next CoCo is made into a Tablet?

Seeing the new Tablets on the market and how revolutionary they are. Why not make the Next generation color computer a Tablet instead of relying on PC arquitecture? Could it be done with FPGA hardware and made into a machine that can be sold on the market? A lot of people have asked what makes a CoCo a CoCo. Well a CoCo has to be able to run CoCo software with no problems and has to have the feel of a real computer which an emulator while good it cannot bring and the Tablet design can bring that back in 21st century format but we should also move the CoCo into the next century softwarewise so it should have built in apllcations that run from an Eprom and can be updated through the internet such as Word processing, Worksheet etc and it goes without saying that it must be able to browse the internet as well

To Recap:

It should have at least a maximum resolution of 800x600 if not more.

It should have complete backward compatibility with CoCo software.

It should have built in applications including an enhanced version of BASIC with a compiler.

It should be able to handle old cartridges in an adressable manner, safely without damaging the data bus which was a problem the CoCo had and shouldn't


Online version of games like Ghana Bwana, Zaxxon you name it could be developed afterward. Imagine the rafe over such fresh new games that people can play online!


Well what do you guys think? Any Entrepeneurs willing to take the CoCo to the next level once and for all? I know this the world needs a next generation Color Computer.
