In response to Tony's comments...

I agree, the website on its own won't pull people in if they don't know 
the site exists but the site should become a central information *hub* 
where all information about the fest and what is planned is displayed.

The promotion comes in by hitting the CoColist, facebook, e-mail and 
other sites with the news of the fest and pointing people to the website 
for all the details.

The promotional part gets people interested, the web site should then 
close the deal.

Remember, by injecting some life into the Fest at the preparation stage, 
you not only encourage visitors to attend but also more vendors.
