[Coco] ANNOUNCE: Cloud-9 Website Update

I think we should keep the shilling of one's wares off the list, because this inevitably always happens. I've seen it year over year, list after list, same thing... Mine's bigger than yours, mine's faster, mine's better, etc...

Put a link to your website in your signature, and be done with it.

But this childish playground nonsense needs to end - this is too small of a community as it is, and events like this have only served to run off others in the past. That was done to provoke a response, and any moron with even a lick of sense knows that.

 /EndTheNonsense

On a separate note, well wishes to those in the path of Irene. Be smart, be prepared, don't wait until the last minute

This isn't directed to Boisy or any single person. It's just the email that prompted me to ask that these types of personal issues, disputes, etc be taken off list and private emails if needed. Go back and read every email that has passed between us, and I think you'll see that this attack is not warranted. I've worked with you before out of courtesy, extending you credit, which you did eventually pay, and I acknowledge that. > > You have always been treated fairly by us, and I would appreciate if you would acknowledge that. > > Best Regards, > Boisy G. I have been quiet on it publicly but privately I have received many messages. If you read the Atari forum thread completely, I don't see how you can come to this conclusion. In any case I respect your opinion. This isn't about wanting to be the only CoCo vendor, it is about ethical conduct. It is OK for Roger to go off on the Atari forum but it is not OK for us to post factual results? Everyone needs to be held to the same standard, underdog or not. Not once has he said that the information is factually incorrect, only that the picture was not current. Send us a picture and we will update it. Anything that is not true, we will update, that has been said before and where this information came from. You have been a customer of Cloud-9 and we have always worked with you through your tough times. Not going to bring all that in here, you know what I am talking about I hope. Roger continually poked us and even noted that by his lack of response comment he was being ignored, almost bragging. This is a hobby business for me, for the love of the machine. A payback to a machine that has taken me where I am in my life. It has been a GREAT ride and it will continue. I will take the abuse for only so long, like anyone would, for the betterment of this list and the community. Roger brought this on himself. Thank you all for the support. "the compeition," like you're in some kind of market that's in a beat-down with manufacturers vying for business. I'm 43 years-old, been using the CoCo since '80 or so, been on here since well into the princeton days, and I gotta say. That has to be the single most disgusting show I've seen in our little coco world, and we've had some doozies. You make me want to grab my TC^3, go out into the garage, and take my Bridgeport to it Mark, I don't know why you sold your soul to these cretins, but you can count me out in the future, until the BS changes. And I have bought: TC^3 1-2 pro-tectors ROM-DOS SuperDisk HDB-DOS Lord knows what else. But you folks just set a new low in the CoCo community's history, as far as I'm concerned.
