[Coco] Howto for Altera DE1?

Man, am I my own worst enemy.  I never bothered to look closely enough to 
note that the buttons and switches are numbered from right to left!  Turns 
out that the keyboard becomes inoperative if switches 8 and/or 9 are on. 
I thought those were "1 and 2" :-(.  Now the keyboard is operational.

Next problem:  For some reason I cannot grasp, the sign-on ROM banner 
(Microsoft copyright, etc.) is no longer appearing at cold start or reset. 
Not sure what that's about.  I'm going to try and get DW working next.

What a comedy of errors!  Hopefully all this blundering around will help 
in developing a user guide.
