On both Firefox & Internet Explorer, when I Copy a link from the address bar 
and paste it into an e-mail, it automatically converts spaces (%20) and 
other special characters to their ASCII Hex equivalents, which is the url 
format William mentioned. When I see an incomplete link conversion such as 
the one posted by Frank, I just highlight and copy the link text (not copy 
link location... just copy) and then paste it into the browser address bar.
