I'm still here lurking like I normally do! :-)

If you're looking for some activity how about helping me with
a coco problem I'm having!

It's been about 20 years since I did any serious amount of assembly for
the 6809 and would like to try my hand at it for reasons of my own. I've
got Vcc working under linux with wine and it's been stable. I've even managed
to get the bitbanger output going to a file. (most of the time) My problem
is with the usability of disk edtasm. The problem is with the readability of
the assembler output. Not enough columns on the screen to deal with the output
and no good way to capture the assembler output to find errors, etc. I know I can assemble
to the "printer" but that's amazingly slow.

I know there's a good assembler for nitros-09 and I've used mammou<SP?> but I'm still
holding out hope that when I get some time I'm going to make room for my coco and program
on it. Has anyone figured out a way to make disk edtasm usable? I can't believe that I managed
to get by with the edtasm cartridge and a tape drive!! :-(

With luck that'll get things stirred up. :-)

Frank
