Yeah, you're right, we do have 3 time zones, but since the bulk of the 
population live in the eastern side at GMT+10, we use that as our benchmark. 
:P

Doesn't the mainland span 3 time zones?  Or do you ignore that and use
a single time?
I was looking at http://www.worldtimezone.com/wtz020.php  and figured
+9 was the average :)
