Greetings all,
I've posted the latest CoCoNet Server and ROM 1.05 (for Drive Pak,
EPROM Pak, FDC Controllers, Deluxe Wireless serial pak, etc.). The
16k ROM image, Disto MPROM image as well as the docs will be in the
installation folder.
When you read the docs you'll see how simple CoCoNet works on the
CoCo, with enhanced BASIC commands controlling everything.

Drive Pak users might want to check often for the latest snapshot of
the 2GB distribution card. The problem with this is that if you
write over your existing card you'll naturally lose anything you've
saved or changed. Experienced users can find a way from BASIC to
import/export partitions from their card to keep from having to deal
with the whole card snapshot. More on this later.
CoCoNet currently gives bitbanger drives, 6551 drives, Drive Pak
drives, FDC drives, simultaneously, meaning that any drive type can
be mounted on any Drive 0-3, and if it's a Drive Pak drive, any disk
#0-255 can be mounted from any partition which are easy to call on.
Just to make sure you read right... Drive 0 could be a Drive Pak
drive (for example, the 'OS9FD' partition, disk #200), Drive 1 could
be a 6551 wired or wireless bluetooth drive, Drive 2 could be the
bitbanger drive, and Drive 3 could be your real floppy controller.
Copying disks and files between drive types works just like you'd expect.
For the remote drives, you just mount a disk by full pathname or web
URL. You use a ! or @ to specify bitbanger or 6551-based pak.
I've posted these examples many times, but here's another just off
the top of my head.
DRIVE 0,!"http://www.coco3.com/somedisk.dsk" mount a web disk on Drive 0
DRIVE 1,#230 mount Drive Pak disk #230 in the current partition
BACKUP 0 TO 1 copy the web disk to the Drive Pak
Or.... how about turning on your CoCo to a premounted remote PC disk
and have it auto-boot into OS-9 or a menu for the Disk BASIC disk?
Premounted web disks will be added to the CoCoNet Server 1.06 in a few days.
There's just too many ideas but... you get the idea. :)
