Worse than that, the jacks are now labeled with hieroglyphs instead of words.  Part of the reason I don't use Windows or Mac systems is that I don't read ancient egyptian.  And now the hardware is labeled that way.  Be very afraid.

Most of the grey (Mercedes Silver) CoCo Ones I recall were an extreme dark (charcoal) grey under the paint that rubbed off of the leading edge.  Almost black, but not quite.  I do have a total deader in the basement I can hacksaw apart (lightning strike, I doubt any rare components have any magic smoke left, it's not like I'm cutting a baby in half), but that's the color that showed up on our floor machines at the RSCCs I worked in and on all of mine.
