I am off for 2 weeks but may be able to dig one up. I believe I have a few
in my junk drawer at work...

PM me and we can follow up.

Tom

Subject: Re: [Coco] Off Topic - PCMCIA Wireless Card

This is an off-topic question for the Coco List.

Besides my Coco, I've been playing with another retro computer, the NEC
MobilePro 770 hand-held computer (manufactured quite a few years ago). It's

a fun little machine and uses the Microsoft CE 2.1 operating system, so you
know it's ancient.

I need a wireless Type II PCMCIA card in order to use it to get on the
internet, and maybe to print to a wireless printer. Most of the information

I have found using a Google search dates back to the early 2000's. Cards
that are mentioned that "should" work are the Avaya silver and the Orinoco
gold. Drivers for these older cards may be an issue.

Does anyone on the list have a suggestion as to what might be a more modern,

versatile wireless PCMCIA card to try? If not, I'll try to look for some of

these older cards.

Thanks for the help.
