Hi,

It looks like the scans I made for 1981 are moved into the
MAGS0/RAINBOW/1981, and the scans for 1982 and what I've finished in
1983 are in /incoming. I named them "Rainbow - Vol # No # - Mon
Year", except for april and june of 83, where the magazines seem to
stop using volume and no on the cover. at some point the vol. no.
style returns, because issues from the 90s seem to use it, but i'm not
sure of exactly when. if there is any preference for naming please
just let me know.

I will be unable to work on this more until next week, but i plan to
optimize the entire rainbow set at least. The results seem to be very
nice. For the months with the high res scans (300+ MB) at least a 10x
reduction in size but still very good readability. The low quality
scans (<100mb) become about 3x smaller and actually much easier to
read.
