[Coco] Suggested RAM area for ML program to be used from BASIC?

If you mean $E00, then no, that's part of the PMODE graphics area.

If you mean $FA0C-FDFF, then yes, on a CoCo 3 or on an earlier CoCo if you copy
ROM to RAM first and protect it from a reset.
