There might be an Internet Explorer issue, but I'll need reports and 
feedback.  Typically, only a few repeat visitors seem to take the 
time to report problems.

The older system would retain so many past messages at a time but the 
new one removes past messages after a while.  I'll see if there is a 
setting to retain "signs of life" in the new chat room.  Also, when 
you leave the page, it removes you from chat instantly.  This is some 
kind of "ajax" system, which is ok except for the part where it 
assumes you are gone when you browse to another page on the 
site.  That's terrible, I know, but the instant update messaging is real nice.

I may put back in the original chatroom and give us two types of rooms.
