[Coco] General Memory Question about speed

Hrm. I see that the 6809 uses 2 8bit registers vs the 68hc11s 2 16bit
registers.

I thought perhaps it could be forced into just receiving 8 bit data, but I
guess

I will save myself the headache and go with a 6809 or 68B09E (2 MHz).

Faster memory won't help with anything in a CoCo because the system is
already designed to operate with no wait states. 

Building a CoCo clone with a 68HC11 will result in a machine that won't be
able to run any CoCo software. There are many differences between the
instruction sets of the 09 and HC11, plus the fact that the HC11 does not
have a U index register.
