for many years, replacing it because I came across a 40 cps Xerox 1650-ro at 
a flea market for $25 in '87, not because it had failed?

It has a pull tractor for fanfold paper and IIRC has both rs-232 and parallel 
(centronics) interfaces.  It has a pure ascii wheel that I modified so as to 
be able to tell a lowercase el from a one.  It uses a one time carbon film 
cartridge ribbons and prints very well, better than but just not as fast as 
the Xerox as the Xerox platen is as hard as glass from old age.  I believe it 
is also able to work with wide paper, like business green bar that's 15" wide 
but after all this time that part is hazy.  Up until ink jets fixed the paper 
format available choice for me, I always bought wide ones just in case so my 
codes long comments would print. :-)

Offers?  Shipping would be for a bit less than 20 lbs IIRC.

I also have a dmp-120 in what I think is usable condition, but that one is 
heavier and I don't have its original box. Probably 25 pounds packed in 
plastic peanuts.  It too is rigged for fanfold tractor paper, and uses cloth 
ribbons.

I could part with either at the right price since neither has been used in 
years.  The dmp-120 is about 8x faster.
