Not sure what Gary's website is so I have no idea of what he is running or trying to do. But 
still 6.25 MHz is faster than what is current in hardware. Unless  you are using a 6309 and 
doing some form a heavy duty cooling of the chip. 

It would be interesting to see what Gary  has done and  if he will release his code to the 
public under some GNU lincensing.
