Without going into details, the club is about the "KC 85", a vintage
computer from the former GDR (German 'so called' Democratic Republic).
It is based on the "U 880 D" CPU, a "pirate" clone of the Z80. Most
computer clones were made by Robotron in this communist country but
seemingly this one was made by the "VEB Mikroelektronik 'Wilhelm Pieck'
Mühlhausen im Kombinat Mikroelektronik" (VEB = nationally-owned
enterprise). Never heard of this but I'm from Western Germany anyway...
