After you complete the login, you need to specify a second command to
checkout the repository:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous at nitros9.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/nitros9 co
nitros9

Okay, I've tried TortoiseCVS, WinCVS and CVSNT, using:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous at nitros9.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/nitros9 login
I hit 'enter' when the password request pops, it thinks for a few and then i
get:
***** CVS exited normally with code 0 *****
And there are no new files or folders in My Documents...
Any ideas?
Brian

Mark and Boisy,
I have NOT attempted to d/l NitrOS9 as of yet. Honestly, I have no actual
use for it right now since the only CoCo that is even close to being set up
is my repack (and that will not be fully set up until the SuperBoard hits
the market). That said, it's been 12-18 months since I tried, but, there
were several open source network analyzers I was wanting to try which were
hosted on Sourceforge. At work we have a T1 and a 4MB Roadrunner connection
and the best we could get was 1mb/sec for an hour then a timeout (usually a
500 series error). Needless to say I made other choices.
There was another project, Mailwasher Server, that was a never end to
headaches via Sourceforge until they stopped with the CVS only and also
offered compiled applications. I can say I've browsed the NitrOS9 files and
I have no issue with the server response time. However, I am not 'into'
compiling code at this point and my programming skills are non-existent. I
liked it better when there were dsk files available, but that's just my own
personal preference.
I will, however, look into it and see if I can d/l it later (after a reboot
requested by TortoiseCVS). I'll get back to you at that point.
Brian

I saw Gene's post and went and thought I would try this out. Needed to
get here anyway.
Boisy and I have a HUGE repository for C-9, well over a gig of shared
information between us. I'm running w2k and XP with Tortise CVS.
I applied for an account on SourceForge. Sent my account info to Boisy
Setup CVS and downloaded BOTH repositiories error free in under 10 minutes.
Worked flawlessly........
Brian - What is not working or the problems you are having? Same as
Gene? If so what CVS package / platform are you on?
