I still have my old Model 1 and wracking my brain as much as I can, I do not 
recall who or what the Genie was. There is a TRS-80 group here on Yahoo 
Groups and there is a Model 1 emulator which will run on a modern PC. I don't 
recall if it supports the Anadisk drives.

I agree with others that an emulator would be preferable to the tedious path 
that you are following.

Hopefully someone will be able to help you out, The Anadisk system was way to 
expensive for me back in the 80's so I have no experience with them.
