Ugh that sucks :(. Is the problem the drive isn't spinning? If so, you can
freeze the drive in your freezer, thaw it and you may be lucky enough to get
it spinning again temporarily (

other then that I'd recommend instead of giving up on the drive that you
research the various hard drive recovery programs out there and as a last
resort consult your local hard drive recovery specialists. I'm sure you have
a good software collection, it'd be a shame to lose it. Thanks for the
