Just remember that finding the proper track and sector to load or
write to takes about the same amount of time on the coco as the 1541.
Also, some of the copy protections on the coco would load another copy
protection which would load another and so on... making coco disks way
slower than they needed to be.

I still remember trying to crack a coco game.  After disassembling
three loaders that loaded one after the other (one was really nasty) I
said the heck with it because it appeared to be loading another
loader.  From the sound of the way the drive was accessed I'm guessing
I had two more to go before it actually loaded the game.  I don't even
remember what game it was anymore.
