I would also like to clarify that RS-DOS should indicate Disk Basic only, not Color Basic or Extended Color Basic without the disk rom. At least that's how I've always perceived it since DOS is an acronym for Disk Operating System.

Yes, I used to do that, then copy Jake Commanders "Chrmakey" enhancment to 
the $E000 range where it lived quite happily.  That way I still had the 
full 24k of ram for basic and one of the neatest code editors ever.  Then 
I discovered os9.  The rest is history.  And now historical I'm afraid.
