One the idea of USB storage, FTDI has some solutions that maybe better than that
of the Cypress SL811HS chip. I need to investigate further but I think this avenue
may better suit the Coco needs. Also embedded boards are available in the $20 to
$50 range. Developement boards are under $100.

Embedded boards by DLP Design are available through Mouser Electrronics. I plan
to put in an order next week for some parts to build my astronomical CCD camera
and I may decide on a board or two to add to the order.
