Yes, the Diamond Trackstar was an Apple ][+ or  //e on an ISA or MCA 
card; it was sold in computer stores & at Radio Shack as a bridge 
(mostly for schools) between the Apple // and PC world. I had a 
Trackstar E (Apple //e card) but never got the software for it working.

I think it would be much simpler to do this with a CoCo 3 as Radio Shack 
had a simpler & more efficient design with the CoCo 3 (IMHO). 
Personally, since it was so simple & my 1st CoCo I'd like to see someone 
do an MC-10 on a chip myself. Anyway, it would be an interesting project 
but hardware design is beyond me; I'm a contract hardware/software 
network install tech for HP.
