[Coco] hard drive questions

Thanks, however I'm having a *horrible* time just trying to get my old rig
running again. It's one train wreck after another. Sooo... I wish to test
these HD on a PC, therefore I guess I need a (very) old PC or some special
interface for these old things.

     Try my IDE_DETECT program from OS9/NitrOS9 (I believe Boisy has it up
on the Nitros9 project website). Older ATA hard drives would not be ATAPI
compatible... ATAPI was a later standard (originally for CD-ROM's) that is
closer to SCSI than ATA. ATA is the original hard drive standard, and the
protocols are completely different.
