Fidonet was my lifeline connection to the CoCo community outside of
commercial venues like Compuserve in the late 80s / early 90s. The
closest node was in Phoenix Arizona and I used to access Fido on a BBS
called Class of '68, it was a long distance international call from
Nogales Sonora Mexico... phone bill was not that great but well worth
it.
