Working from the scans, as having done the basic & ram upgrades, I've 
re-assembled the machine :) It looks like the board is numbered :

20261027

That is indeed possible as the other place these have been seen is 
Australia, which like the UK is PAL.

Ahhh, yeah interesting that it only seems to have one PIA, and no cart 
slot, though the board seems to be shaped as if they planned to have one 
there at some point.

Ah, like a re-badged CoCo, sold in places other than RS/Tandy, that 
makes sense.
