Like I mentioned, from the CoCo3's 50Hz RGB signal a true PAL composite
video signal is mixed by a circuit on a daughter board which is plugged
into the RGB connector inside the Coco3. Of course this is much better
than the modulator's RF out. I wouldn't use the RF antenna signal even
with a NTSC compatible TV. However, it's not helpful to use the GIME's
composite video out pin, because it would deliver a non-standard "50Hz
NTSC" with an Australian PAL-Coco3. Just use the AV signal of the
daughterboard.

Regards Torsten

PS: Should be easy for one of the Aussie guys to dump a ROM image of the
Australian ROM. My CoCo3s are boxed and I don't have access right now so
I can't do it although I'd like to if this would help.
