To keep the text on the screen, end the BASIC program with some
nested busy-waiting FOR loops. Something like this:

1000 FOR I=1 TO 100000: FOR J=1 TO 100000: FOR K=1 TO 100000
1010 M=25*25*25:NEXT K:NEXT J: NEXT I
