The programs RETRIEVE and OS9 are DOS programs and may or may not work 
within WindowsXP. The help/syntax messages are obtained just by entering 
the program name, ex.  RETRIEVE.EXE [ENTER]

If WindowsXP has a DOS window, try the above. That will show you how to 
use the commands. If that can't be done in WindowsXP, then you will need 
a Windows boot disk from an older OS which does have DOS.
