[Coco] OT: No way to connect to internet

Sorry for the OT, but I'm kind of desperate.
My PC won't connect to my cablemodem / network
I tried everything I could think. Reinstalling Windoze, formatting and
re-installing windows and Linux, even "upgrading"(?) to XP, Also tried
with a different network card.
If I connect any other computer to the same cable, all is OK.
Any suggestions?

Or at least any idea about how to like Mac OS X?????
