As I recall, there was no consumer version of the CoCo 1 (or any version, for that matter) sold in the US with a composite video out. There was, however, a version made specifically for schools that DID have composite video out. There were a couple mods required to upgrade an early CoCo 1 to 64K, but it wasn't difficult. It's possible that some of the educational CoCo 1s had 64K in them. Tandy included "64K" stickers/emblems with some of the official upgrades, or for the dealer to put on if it was dealer installed. I forget which! I still have an old "battleship" stored, and I believe it has 64K. I'm not sure what it has on the case, or if it was upgraded later. I do recall keeping it specifically because it's a late CoCo 1 motherboard that was easily upgradeable, but still had a "chicklet" keyboard. I don't have a copy of my book handy, finally stored all that stuff -- sometimes I wish I hadn't!
