I haven't had much experience with shopping cart software. However, I
have been evaluating a switch from QuickBooks to SQL Ledger, and I seem
to recall that some E-commerce systems can plug in to sql-ledger. If you
are setting this up as a side business, and anticipate more sales than
you would wish to do without an online ordering system, you might want
to consider something that plays nice with your accounting system too.
Then you don't have to worry about writing a lot of scripts, or
reentering data later.
