I am documenting the process of attempting to gain permission from IDG to
republish Hot Coco magazine - it will take a few days to collect all the
tidbits together into a coherent document. I am not doing this to create
a /. article, but rather to make sure it's documented somehwere that can
easily be referred to if anyone desires the information. If /. were to
link to my website it would be flooded wihtin seconds, so if anyone wants
to mirror this content for that purpose please feel free to do so. I will
post a link when it's all finsihed sometime next week.

I am going to continue to pursue contacting Hot Coco authors and get as
many written release forms as I can reasonably collect. I am not
supposing that I will "win" any arguments against such a huge corporation
as IDG, but I am passionate about issues of copyright the freedom of
information and this is my way contributing.

Regards,
Michael Harwood
