Hi,
I guess it's a little "closing the barn door after the cows are loose" 
but it is recommended that you always check feedback before bidding on 
an auction. I do and only had one problem on eBay since 1999. That was a 
situation where a fellow failed to mention he was going on vacation for 
a couple weeks. He made it up to me and all was fine.

Of course we should all backup our systems often, check our oil & tire 
pressure weekly, etc...how many of us do? In the heat of an auction it 
can escape us but even on my dialup it only takes a moment to check 
feedback. And there is always a synopsis of feedback on the auction page 
(in %s).

Good luck man. I hope eBay drums this guy out and the FBI nails his butt 
for fraud!
