Folks, remember that this is a file created on a REAL coco. Not an emulator. 
Not in Windoze. Not on an Apple or under Linux or using MESS.

I do not want to create this file on anything other than a REAL coco. I want 
to transfer this file to a Doze box using a serial port on that coco and use 
it with MESS on this Doze box.
 You have to understand this. We've gone around with this for a week now. 
Stop telling me to get another computer and do it under W95, W98, Linux or 
whatever.
 This should  be done on a COCO! and transferred to MESS without hassle.

 I skipped the first four blocks with success..

I used dump and ded in MESS and the result of those two files were 
identical.

It "SEEMS" as if the file permissions are not together.

I could not find a difference in the two files.. ie: /d0 and testing.os9 or 
testing.dsk other than the attributes.
