[Coco] Lab South is Fine

I normally wouldn't clutter the list with messages of a non-CoCo  
related nature, but I've been getting emails all day from many of you  
asking how we fared here.

The bottom line is the lights are on, the water is flowing, and other  
than slower than normal internet and sporadic mobile phone service,  
we are OK here.  In Opelousas, we were barely brushed by the extreme  
west side of the hurricane, experiencing only 30 mph winds with  
slightly higher gusts.  Frankly, I feel guilty enjoying all of this  
while people are suffering so much.  My wife and I often visit both  
New Orleans and the Mississippi gulf coast, and are very familiar  
with these areas.  It is sad indeed.

I'm sure all of you have been watching the news and have seen the  
total devastation in New Orleans, Biloxi and Gulfport, as well as the  
chaos that is brewing.  Please pray for these people.
