The paralell port can be just another 68B21 PIA chip. The serial port 
would be a 6551/6552/6852 or something like that. plus som esu 
pport chips. Not a real difficult mod. 

Even simpler would be a medium density CPLD that would house 
both the serial and paralell ports.
