Actually, you can also make Win98 boot disks from Linux and similar systems,
as well as some other OSes that have the proper tools.  I recently needed
one to troubleshoot a friends laptop, and my only computer with Windows on
it doesn't have a floppy drive.  I went to www.bootdisk.com , downloaded the
non-Windows specific image file of a Win98 boot disk, and transferred the
image to a floppy using my BeOS 5 Pro system.  Once I had the image file on
the system, I only had to open a terminal and type the following, or very
close:

dd if=NameOfImageFile of=/dev/raw/floppy

TaDa--Win98 boot disk  Maybe this little tid-bit will help someone out of a
tight spot sometime.
