Folks,

Today I received my SuperIDE prototype rev #2 in order to refine the
software and documentation for the product. I have to say that this
turn of the board is gorgeous and FAST! Mark has done a terrific
engineering job here, and I have to say it is the most jam-packed CoCo
peripheral to come out in many years. I'm using a 64MB CompactFlash
device plugged into the built-in socket, and HDB-DOS 1.1 burned into
flash bank #0. On a CoCo 2, the DIRs just scream on by. You can
imagine what a CoCo 3 running at double-speed will do!

The construction is solid and superb. The case is your standard floppy
controller sized covering, and this thing fits nicely on the side of a
CoCo. The LED flashes on CF accesses, so you know when data is
traveling.

For those of you with SuperBoard down payments, I know it has been a
long time in coming... please be just a little more patient! With the
R&D that Mark and I have invested into this product, we feel confident
that the SuperBoard is going to be one hell of a knock-out product.

Boisy
