I posted a message with the topic "alive and well". There was a URL to an article online that said he was teachin at a tech school. I'm pretty certain that it mentions the school that he is teaching at. If so, try emailing the school for contact info.

Perhaps tracking him down through magazine articles of the time might
help. If we can find the publisher of the magazine, perhaps they will
have knowledge of the author's most recent whereabouts? (a long shot)

I am going to look through geneaology pages at some point. Perhaps
something there will turn up more recent info.
