Don't forget about a rare program called Key-264k, read as 'the key to using 
all of
the 64kb of ram'.    You could have two independent basic or assembly 
programs 
residing in upper and lower 32kb, running separately, or interactively.  The 
amount
of code required was about 2-4kb, in each bank, iirc;  this allowed much more 
user
space than even Basic09 did.
Unforch, the program seems not to be of any interest with this group; even 
the author
has refused any attempt at contact for availability or info.
