Thanks a million, Dennis.  I could also use some tips on how you 
conjured up that magic.  I forgot to mention another resource I had that 
was less help, mapwise,than expected, my collection of "The Complete 
National Geographic" on CD. One thing I did discover was that the reason 
I couldn't find three towns I was searching for was that they were 
totally wiped out by the tsunami(s) and never rebuilt.  This had a big 
impact on worldwide commerce since one of the towns housed all the 
pilots taken on for the passage of the Sunda Straits, and disrupted 
Singapore and China trade for months to years.
